WA State J-1 Visa Program

R/UOE, R/UOP

  • Interested sites and students can contact the Western WA AHEC year round for placements.

R/UOP Dental, RUN

  • Students can apply for the dental R/UOP during their first year of dental school. Placements take place between their first and second years in dental school.
  • Senior nursing students at Seattle Central Community College can apply for and experience RUN during their final year of nursing school.
  • Interested sites contact WWAHEC year-round.

Community HealthCorps/AmeriCorps

Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program

National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program

  • Site Applications: Site applications are accepted year round but must be received by March 26, 2009 in order to be approved for the 2010 school year.

National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program

  • Provider Applications: NHSC is currently accepting applications for Loan Repayment Awards funded by $200 million American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds. Applications will be accepted continuously until funds are expended or September 30, 2010, whichever comes first.
  • Site Applications: Site applications are accepted year round but must be received by March 26, 2009.

Washington State Health Professional Scholarship Program

  • State scholarship applications for the 2009-2010 school year were due April 30, 2009. Future deadlines yet to be announced. Applications must be post-marked by deadline, faxes will not be accepted.

Washington State Health Profession Loan Repayment Program

  • Provider Applications: The online Loan Repayment application will be posted in January, 2010. The deadline to submit the application will be April 30, 2010.
  • Site Applications: The online application will be available in July each year and the deadline to submit applications is the first week of September.

U-DOC at the University of Washington

Educational Opportunity Grant Program

  • You must apply before you enroll in school. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to students who meet the eligibility criteria. Applications are available on the website.

MultiCare Nurse Camp
