Washington was one of twenty states chosen to receive CMS funding for pilot ER Diversion projects in 2008. The other states include: Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Utah.
