Here is what some Community Health Centers are saying about the services they provide:

“We pride ourselves on our ability to work with our communities, to understand their needs, and to work with others to develop innovative solutions for their health care.”

“Our friendly multilingual support staff is here to assist you with your health care needs.”

“Our mission is to provide comprehensive health care to families and individuals who have difficulty accessing care; respond with sensitivity to the needs of our culturally diverse patients; and advocate and work with others to improve the overall health status of the communities we serve.”
“We serve patients regardless of their ability to pay.”

Community Dental Programs

The Washington Association of Community & Migrant Health Centers is committed to improving the oral health status of all who seek care in Washington State. Access to affordable dental services is the State’s number one health care access problem, and health centers are deeply committed to addressing it by providing integrated comprehensive care in a "health care home." Our member Community Health Centers are focused on eliminating the disparities in oral health status.

21 of the 26 Community Health Centers around the state of Washington operate dental programs run by highly experienced dental professionals offering a full range of services for patients who have private insurance, are uninsured, or on Medicaid/Medicare.

Regular visits to the dentist are important for both adults and children as part of a good dental health plan. Dental care should start at an early age. It is recommended that every child should visit the dentist before his/her first birthday. Good dental health is an important part of a healthy lifestyle and everyone can keep their teeth healthy by brushing at least twice a day, flossing and regularly seeing a dentist.
