The Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) Academy is a 6-month HRSA-funded virtual training series designed to help staff from health centers, health center controlled networks, and primary care associations develop, implement and sustain SDOH interventions in their clinics and communities. Designed and led by staff from 14 organizations—all HRSA-designated training and technical assistance hubs—the coordinated curriculum exposes participants to a range of SDOH strategies and community-based interventions in a single place, and covers everything from screening to implementation and practice transformation. The Academy also provides an opportunity for health centers to engage in peer-learning and share their SDOH needs and work. Each month from January through June, the Academy offers a virtual training on a different SDOH topic and hosts corresponding virtual office hours where participants can ask questions and share their experiences. There is no formal application to participate; simply register for the sessions you wish to attend. Trainings are free for participants.
