Description

The Ag Worker Access Campaign 2020 strives to increase access to primary health care services to agricultural workers and their family members across the country. As Community Health Centers partner in this effort, a primary and critical step to success is to accurately identify patients as agricultural workers. This webinar will provide an overview of the federal definition of agriculture, including qualifying industries, the classification of agricultural workers, and guidance from the Uniform Data System manual for accurate reporting. Presenters will share resources and tools to assist health center staff in implementing effective processes and procedures in verifying the agricultural worker status of their patients. Participants will have an opportunity to apply the information presented with case studies that illustrate the most common challenges in the verification process.
